ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Mililani, Hawaii. I attended Mililani High School where I won 4 Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) singles championships, 3 Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) singles state championships and the inaugural B. Martin Luna sportsmanship award. I was also inducted into the 2014 HHSAA Hall of Honor.

After graduating high school in 2014, I attended the University of Oregon where I double majored and earned a bachelor of science in psychology and general science. As a Duck, I played primarily at the #1 and #2 position and received my highest ITA ranking of #43 in singles and #10 in doubles. I won Oregon’s first-ever ITA Northwest Regional doubles championship in 2017 with my partner, Shweta Sangwan. I qualified for the NCAA Singles Championship Tournament in 2018, the first time for a Duck since 2006. During my time at Oregon, I helped the program record it's first ever win against UCLA and USC and also the program's record team ranking of #17. Along with this, my team qualified for the NCAA tournament for the first time in ten years in 2017. During my time as a Duck, I received the ITA Senior Player of the Year for the northwest region award, two all-Pac-12 second team honors, three Pac-12 All-Academic second team honors, and two Pac-12 player of the week recognitions. I also won the 2018 women’s Kailua Night doubles title with partner Lena Lutzeier, which qualified us to play in a professional exhibition match at the 2018 Hawaii Open against players like Genie Bouchard and Elise Mertens.

In July 2018, I got the opportunity to play my first pro tournament, the $60k Tennis Championships of Honolulu, where I won my first professional singles and doubles match in front of friends and family. I've been ranked as high as #800 in the WTA doubles rankings.
