Both matches today were tough. A little disappointed, but happy to learn from the experience!
The weather was rather cool for Cancun in the morning, it was overcast so it was about 85 degrees instead, but humidity was really really high so I was sweating about the same as always. I lost in the quarters in singles 6-4, 6-4. Super close match. They have our stats for each match and the first set was a difference of just two points.
Doubles was also a tough one, we lost 6-1, 7-5 In the semifinals. My partner was from japan, but so sometimes we had a hard time communicating but it was still fun!
on another note, we went to a place down the road for lunch between singles and doubles. We had tacos and quesadillas and they were soooooo yummy. The taco was just 15 pesos and the quesadilla was 25. For reference, the exchange rate is about 18 pesos to 1 USD. What a good deal!!!
